INTRODUCTION:
The COVID-19 has triggered new ways of online learning. There has been a considerable development in education where mode of instruction has changed due to effects of online classes. Internet and education have integrated to provide users with necessary skills in future. There are 3 method of learning namely, enhanced learning , blended learning , and online approach.
. Enhanced learning uses the intensive use of technology.
. Blended learning mixes both face-to-face and online learning.
. Online approach indicates that course content is delivered online.
The COVID 19 has both Positive and Negative Impacts.
*POSITIVE IMPACTS:
. Students were able to learn new computer skills.
. Students can manage their time more efficiently in education.
. The online classes can be taken from home or location of choice.
. A lot of assignments and presentation were asked to make part of their assignments.
. Many students who were weak or getting low marks in any subject were able to watch related videos on YouTube and other websites.
*NEGATIVE IMPACTS :
.Many students who were using the phone for long period of time there is a chance to be easily distracted by social media.
. Many students doesn't have gadgets required for online classes.
. There is a delay or cancellation of exams which leads to confusion for many students .
* ONLINE LEARNING BEFORE COVID-19:
A few educational institutions were implementing the blended and online approach methods. Little by little more schools and universities have started enforcing them but at a very slow rate. When the pandemic hit , everyone had to switch from offline to online classes .
* ONLINE LEARNING DURING COVID-19:
Students were able to learn new computer skills which may be used for their future. The online classes were taken in apps and the most popular app used for the online learning were Zoom , Parent App, Google meet , Microsoft Software.
*There are 4 reasons why students like most about online learning.
1. Flexibility.
2. Move at your own place.
3. Personalized learning.
4. Pursue passion at outside of classroom.
CONCLUSION:
The Student became more positive towards online learning after a few months of its start. The predictiors for their prior online learning attitudes by the end of course were their online attitudes and motivation in learning. The online learning will be trend in future . The school education system has shifted to be virtual as a results teachers may be replaced by robots .
