 STRATEGIES TO TEACH ENGLISH FOR CLASSES VI -VIII DURING PANDEMIC 

INTRODUCTION:

Pandemic has shifted everything to online.Many teachers and students suffered a lot because of the pandemic. Teachers took online classes to impart knowledge even during the pandemic . Here are few ways to teach English for students during the pandemic.

SPEAK SLOWLY AND PATIENTLY:

As students show and comparatively learn slower during the pandemic period it is essential to be patient with them. Students have to be taught and trained to speak clearly to make their points clear.Teachers have to motivate student to speak for a minute on the topic of their choice.

UTILISE VISUAL AIDS:

Teachers have to give visual video training,  students can utilise it whenever they can.Students can improve their speaking skill and writing skills.  

TEACHER'S CONSERN:

Teachers should access the difficulties for the students. Teachers have to encourage students to make their English perfect .

ONE TO ONE CONVERSATION:

Teachers have to encourage students to speak in English with their peers . Students have to speak in English with their friends and family to make their English perfect. 

CONCLUSION: 

Students can do anything in difficult situation with the help of their teachers . Teaching English language is difficult because it is the second second language . Teachers do their best to bring out the best from students even during the pandemic period.
