CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT IN VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

INTRODUCTION:

Education and communication technology have changed rapidly during the pandemic. Creativity and entrepreneurship are the two innovative competencies for the 21st century learning outcomes and Carrer; hence it is important for young people for social development during pandemic.

CREATIVE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE IN VIRTUAL CLASSROOM:

1)WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT:

A warm and a welcoming environment is important in any type of learning experience, and it is crucial when you are teaching in a virtual setting.

2)FLEXIBLE LEARNING SPACES:

Teacher must ensure virtual classroom with flexible learning spaces can help boost in participation. Assigning breakout rooms and chat spaces for small group work may provide students a opportunity to present their work to the class.

3)CREATIVE GAMES AND ACTIVITIES:

Creative activities and games are an effective way to engage the students. It helps to develop critical thinking skills. Creative quizzes, which can be used to test student's knowledge.

CREATIVE WAYS TO ENGAGE STUDENTS

1)ASSUMPTION BUSTING:

Assumption busting is particularly effective when one is struck in current thinking in paradigms or run out of ideas.

2)BRAIN-SKETCHING:

To solve a specific problem, students make sketches and the pass evolving sketches to their neighbors.

3)BRAIN STROMING:

It is a useful tool to develop solutions for a problem, is a lateral thinking process by which students may be asked develop ideas or thoughts which may seem to be shocking at first.

INCONCLUSION:

Although many efforts have been taken by the government and the education agencies to create a platform in education, the youth may feel bored with learning experience especially during and after pandemic.
