INTRODUCTION
Education institutions help children prepare for their future by teaching them essential life skills such as problem solving , learn to work with teams, share with others. These skills help them to face the challenges towards the infectious diseases efficiently. In this blog we will see the role of education institutes in fostering mental well being of children during the pandemic situation.
THE FEAR OF COVID 19
Students faced many hardships during the pandemic. Advent of online classes was a big relief for them. Teacher's played an important role in keeping up of mental well being of children during the pandemic situation. Those times livelihood of a person cannot be explained in words they are suffered a lot. Students life become a big question mark. But education institutions found out new changes in the education system (online classes) to ensure continuity in teaching. Even though it had some problem anyhow students were engaged into their studies without wasting their knowledge.
THE INVOLVEMENT OF SCHOOL'S
Every one was struck with the fear of COVID 19. Especially children who are in higher classes had much fear than the lower classes and kindergarten. They have to avoid this fear. So school's took necessary steps to educate them by following methods by educating teachers to counsel students ,taking care of students needs, being empathatic and so on . School's also created awareness program's on diseases to strengthen the mental health of the student's. If physical and mental health of the students were good then they will face the pandemic situation without fear. This will happen only with the support of teachers.
CONCLUSION
A student spends his first half of the life in education. It is the fundamental stage for him. So it is important for an education institutions to build both physical and mental strength of the students to overcome the challenge of any pandemic situation.
